WLJC was established on October 18, 1982 as the first completely Christian television station in the state of Kentucky. WLJC is an independent Christian, faith based ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The call letters WLJC stand for Wonderful Lord Jesus Christ. The headquarters of WLJC is located at the foothill of the Appalachian Mountains in Beattyville, Kentucky. WLJC’s flagship program is called “Hour of Harvest”. Host Margaret Drake, together with a local team of prayer partners, pastors, and gospel musicians share the audience’s burdens and offer prayer, teaching, and southern/bluegrass gospel music ministry.
