New in the Media Cloud: Devices & Unique Plays Metrics

We're excited to share a new update that enhances the insights available in your Media Cloud Custom Reports:

Devices & Unique Plays metrics are now enabled for all clients using One-Time and Scheduled MC Custom Reports!

Through the Custom Reports Wizard in your Media Cloud, you can now generate reports that include:

• Both metrics (Devices and Unique Plays),
  
  
• Only Devices, or
  
  
• Only Unique Plays – depending on your preferences and reporting needs.

• How do Devices and Unique Plays differ?

Important Notes:

• These metrics are available on most platforms and devices. However, some platforms - such as Podcasts or third-party platforms using a Lightcast M3U8 feed - may not support them yet.
  
  

• For most clients, Devices & Unique Plays data is available from January 2024 or earlier.
  
  

• If you don’t see these metrics in your report, please reach out to our support team so we can help verify:
  
  

  • whether your current platform supports tracking these metrics, and
    
    

  • if your apps are built with a template version that enables them.
