New in the Media Cloud: Manage Channel Access for Sub-Users

We're excited to introduce a new Channel access control in the Media Cloud that gives you more flexibility in managing what your sub-users can access.

You can now select the specific Channels each sub-user can access directly from the Media Cloud – without needing to contact Customer Support to configure Channel restrictions.

What’s New?

A new Channel selector is available under Users → PERMISSIONS → Channel Management.

By default, sub-users have access to all Channels. If you want to limit a sub-user’s access, you can now select only the Channels they should be able to access.

You can manage Channel access when:

• Creating a new sub-user

• Editing an existing sub-user

• Updating permissions as your team’s responsibilities change

Previously, Channel restrictions required assistance from Customer Support. Now, you can manage them directly in the Media Cloud, making it easier to keep Channel access aligned with each sub-user’s responsibilities.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Channel restrictions are managed through the Channel Management permission. If Channel Management is not enabled for a sub-user, the Channel selector will not appear.

If no specific Channels are selected, the sub-user will have access to all Channels.
